Re: compilation on fedora 64-bit

The five steps suggested by tsonne work also
on ubuntu 13.10 64bit (saucy)
for the installation of geopsypackage 2.5.0

forward autocorrelation

Hi Marc, I am wondering if it is possible to forward compute theoretical spatial autocorrelation curves assuming a known layered model (or in other words a theoretical dispersion curve) and a known geometry of receivers. spac2disp links autocorrelation and dispersion curve, but it seems me not in a ...

Hi Marc,
I am wondering if is possible, within the geopsy tools, to compute the 1D response of a large numbers of models using alternative program to gpsh.
The models are the output of gpviewdcreport.

Thanks

resample

Hi, my question is about joint inversion of more than one targets. In my case, I want to invert three autocorrelation curves and an ellipticity peak. Dinver (last snapshot of May under windows) returns the following message before to crash: The effective number of samples for dispersion curve is gre...

I am using gpsh with the snapshot of May under windows. My input file for gpsh was produced by gpviewdcreport. I selected through gpviewdcreport an inversion report (run*_report), and with the tool export model I created the model file (it should be in attach). This model file is correctly used as i...

Hi, I am using the linear fk on active data. In particular I am trying to investigate the effect of normalization on the dispersion curve. From a theoretical point of view the normalization using sqrt of distance is correct working with surface waves. Although this, it seems me that: 1) the normaliz...

minimum maximum misfit

Hi Marc, the dinver in my pc (last snapshot distributed in May) allows to select the maximum misfit limited to the forth decimal numbers (0.000?). Now the problem is that, after the inversion, I have a misfit very low (2.1e-6), and the viewer to see the inversion results (I mean ground profiles view...

gpdc

Hi Marc, I believe that the model structure used by gpdc and other tools is thickness vp vs rho qp qs This seems confirmed by the test.model example. In the online manual of gpdc it is reported thickness vp vs rho qs qp So the question is: the information on qp is on 5th or on 6th column ? Thanks Gi...

Hi Marc, Now I am using the last snapshot (20080517). In the linear active fk toolbox, I see the minimum and maximum distance source-receiver. How can I change the shot position ? In old releases, I used the backazimuth wavefront to distinguish between forward and reverse shots (i.e. 0 means forward...

linear fk window not visible

After several usage of linear fk on a windows machine, I am not more able to see the window of this tool. The graph plot of my seismic traces works correctly, but the window to select the working paramenters not appears. I tried to remove the dir .geopsydefault and to re-install the release but the ...
